Not sure which players should be in your Fantasy team? bundesliga.com's got you covered...

Pick your Matchday 31 Fantasy squad here!

By this point of the season, almost every active team has Harry Kane and Alejandro Grimaldo in it. Indeed, not starring them every week is almost a guarantee to lose rank.

So, instead of pointing out the well-known points machines, bundesliga.com will now shine the spotlight on those hidden gems that could help you climb up the table...

Alassane Pléa (Borussia Mönchengladbach), 11.5M

There are only four rounds of matches left, so the time has come to take the shackles off and run free. Most people in your league likely have Kane, Serhou Guirassy, Loïs Openda and/or Victor Boniface up top, but nobody has Alassane Pléa. How do we know? He has zero percent ownership. The Frenchman, who earned 10 points last week, is on sale for Matchday 31 and will lead the line against an off-colour Union Berlin side who have been poor away from home all season.

Tim Kleindienst (Heidenheim), 10.4M

Just two percent of Fantasy managers have cottoned on to the fact that Kleindienst is a savvy purchase. After all, this is a player who earned 22 and 16 points respectively against Bayern Munich and VfB Stuttgart in recent weeks. He’s likely to get scoring chances this weekend too, as Heidenheim visit bottom club Darmstadt, who have conceded an average of 2.4 goals per game this season.

Ermedin Demirović (Augsburg), 13.2M

While we’re on the subject of strikers, why not make it a left-field trio by picking the Augsburg captain? His 15 league goals and nine assists tell their own story, with nine of those strikes coming on home turf. Only Bochum have been more out of sorts than Augsburg’s opponents Bremen in recent weeks, and with European qualification still on the cards, expect the 26-year-old to do the business.

Philipp Mwene (Mainz), 6.4M

Only Leipzig and Leverkusen (13 each) have won more points than Mainz’s 11 across the last five matchdays – and Mwene has played his part in that, taking two double-digit Fantasy hauls across that period. Listed as a defender in the game but playing as an attack-minded wing-back in real life, he’ll fancy his chances at home to a Cologne side with one of the worst away records in the Bundesliga this season.

Tim Skarke (Darmstadt), 5M

Only a win will do for Darmstadt if they are to have a chance of staving off relegation for another week, making their battle with Heidenheim a must-see fixture. Skarke is Darmstadt’s leading Fantasy scorer by a long way this term – he somehow managed to get nine points in the 6-0 hammering by Augsburg on Matchday 24. The Lillies will have to go on the front foot and Skarke – on sale and owned by just three percent of Fantasy managers – will be central to their plans.
